Four-time Olympian and World Cup downhill winner, Marco Sullivan heads up three days of non-stop individual ski racing instruction and attention. Clinic includes a three-day lift ticket, coaching fees, tuning clinic, video analysis, and a scrumptious Saturday night dinner. Daily participation is welcome,

1992 Olympic figure skating silver medalist Paul Wylie performs an amazing show on-ice followed by an ice skating clinic, a meet and greet session, and a chance to hold a real, Olympic silver medal. Consumer ski/snowboard equipment demos, live music performed by the phenomenal Shelby Rae Moore Band, fireworks, preseason adult ski clinic, EDGE of the WORLD mini games, appearances by Sweetie and Sugar Bear, and lodging specials are some of Sugarfest’s fun happenings. If that’s not enough let SugarFEAST entice you. Indulge in a hot chocolate and whipped cream bar, a soup safari and North Carolina BBQ.

Snow Report Update 11/20/17
We are opening for the season today until 4:30PM. Skiing and riding will be on two slopes with a base of 12-14.” Online sales for lift tickets, rentals, tubing tickets and our Cat Trackers kids program as well as afterschool programs and racing, will go live on November 27. For everything other than afterschool programs and racing, availability to purchase will begin on December 16. If you are planning a visit prior to December 16, tickets, rentals and lessons will be on a first come first served basis. Pass pricing is in its final tier of the season. After many years of directing Cataloochee skiers and snowboarders over sometimes impassable roads, Google Maps provides the only accurate driving directions to the ski area from your point of origin. Google Maps is the ONLY mapping service to provide accurate directions at the current time. Please remember to use this service when planning your trip to the area. GPS devices and other mapping services provide directions over a limited access, unmaintained dirt road.
