In consideration of the forecasts for severe weather Saturday & Sunday (thunderstorms and continuous rain), App Ski Mtn will host the Meltdown Games Impossible Rail Session and Signature Pond Skim & Costume Contest on Friday evening. The main focus of these events is fun, and the weather for the weekend definitely does not look fun. Friday will offer Spring-like weather without the rain, wind, and thunder!
The Impossible Rail Contest is now scheduled for 5:30pm on Friday evening, with the Pond Skim & Costume Contest scheduled for the twilight hours of 7-9pm. A Pond Skim under the lights will be a first here at App Ski Mtn.!
ASM’s 2024-25 season will conclude at Midnight on Friday Night. Thanks to all our guests, employees and friends for an amazing season!

Hatley Pointe Joins Indy Pass for the 2024-25 Season
November 2, 2024
Exciting news for ski and snowboard enthusiasts! Hatley Pointe has joined the Indy Pass network for the upcoming 2024-25 season, making it one of nine Southeast and Mid-Atlantic resorts available to pass holders. The announcement, shared by Ski South East, places Hatley Pointe alongside popular regional resorts like Canaan Valley, Cataloochee, Massanutten, Ober Mountain, Wintergreen, Winterplace, and Wisp Resort.
With an Indy base pass, guests can enjoy two full-day or night lift tickets at each partner resort, along with discounts for a third day and select lodging options. For those looking to maximize flexibility, the Indy+ pass offers the same benefits without blackout dates. Additionally, season pass holders at any of the nine participating resorts can add the Indy Pass to their pass at a discounted rate, making it even easier to explore new slopes.
This announcement comes as Hatley Pointe prepares for its first season under new ownership. After acquiring the former Wolf Ridge Resort, Deb Hatley has been dedicated to extensive renovations to transform the property into a luxury mountain destination, with plans to open this season.
As part of the Indy Pass lineup, Hatley Pointe offers skiers and snowboarders an inviting option in the heart of North Carolina’s ski country. For more details on Hatley Pointe’s renovations and offerings, click the link below.
