Get your sticks waxed up and your aerodynamic outerwear ready for a fun Boarder/Skiercross event! This boarder/skierx is open to anyone interested and all funds raised will go to support our Appalachian Jr Race Team!
Weather looks prime for the weekend, with some natural snow and snowmaking ahead this week.
The course is planned to begin on the cat track to Appal Jam, run through Appal Jam and to the bottom of either Candied Appal or Orchard Run. The race course will consist of banked turns, rollers and more!
Head to head racing in flights of four with the top two finishers advancing to the next flight Medals awarded to the top three finishers in each final flight.
Separate ski and snowboard divisions.
Registration: 9-11 in the Alpine Ski Shop
Registration Fee: $10 per division entered with all proceeds going to support the Junior Race Team at Appalachian
Course inspection and warm up session 10-11:30
Competitor’s meeting 11:45 at the finish line
Competition: starts at Noon
Awards: On-Hill Immediately following Event.
Separate male and female flights.
Age brackets:
6 & under, 7 & 8, 9 & 10, 11 & 12, 13 & 14, 15 & 16, 17 & 18, 19 & 20, U30, U40, U50, & Masters
