Beech Mtn – Adaptive Ski Week – Jan 16-18

The 42nd Annual Adaptive Ski Week makes its return on January 16-18, standing as the longest-running adaptive ski clinic and the pioneer among national instructional clinics initiated by Move United, previously known as Disabled Sports USA (DSUSA) and National Handicap Sports (NHS). Originating in 1981 with the support of the Atlanta Chapter of NHS, this clinic has evolved into a collaborative effort among programs dedicated to harnessing the power of sports for individuals with disabilities.

Continuing its legacy, the clinic is now run as a cooperative effort among various programs sharing a commitment to the benefits of sports for individuals with disabilities. Sponsors play a crucial role, generously contributing to assemble instructors, equipment, and resources essential for teaching skiing and snowboarding to individuals with disabilities in the southeast region.

This remarkable event draws instructors from around the world and participants from across the country, embodying the spirit of inclusivity and empowerment through adaptive sports. Availability is limited, so to register, please contact Al Kaye at akaye@covhlth.com. Join us in celebrating the joy of skiing and snowboarding for everyone!
