Sugar Mountain Resort is open for day skiing and snowboarding from 9 am until 4:30 pm.

Weekday rates will apply today!

Sugar’s outdoor ice skating-rink is expected to open in the coming days while the tubing park should open in early December.

What a day.

Shout out to all of you who dropped everything to join us for the first blue bird day of the season. It was pretty epic. We started the season all the way to the top with service to 8 trails, 2 lifts, 3 terrain park features, and hundreds of smiling faces.

We’ll be back at it again tomorrow starting at 8:30 am and hope to see all the day two’ers there. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you.

Appalachian Ski Mountain

Winter is here at ASM! Given the current forecast, we are hoping to Open for Skiing & Snowboarding Saturday November 30. This is weather permitting, stay tuned for updates as we get closer.

The Appalachian Ice Arena is scheduled to open Wednesday, November 27.

The Alpine Ski Shop will be open Saturday, November 22 from 9am-5pm, and Sunday, November 23 from 12-5pm.

We are excited about being back on the snow soon and getting the 24-25 season started!

Beech Mountain

We’re thrilled to kick off the 2024-2025 winter season at Beech Mountain Resort on Friday, November 29, starting at 9 a.m. We are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with weekday rates in effect. With the mountain freshly groomed and winter activities in full swing, it’s the perfect day to celebrate the return of ski season.

Hatley Pointe (formerly Wolf Ridge)

Hatley Pointe has joined the Indy Pass network for the upcoming 2024-25 season, making it one of nine Southeast and Mid-Atlantic resorts available to pass holders.

Sapphire Valley

The target opening day for the 2024-2025 season is:
December 14, 2024
