Appalachian Ski Mtn will open for the 2014-15 season on Thursday, November 20 with more open terrain and base depth than ever before in our 53 year history! Peak season conditions can be expected on all 9 open slopes. Remember, the first 100 guests to the ticket window will receive a FREE ticket! Slopes will open at 9am, and we will be riding continuously through the night session, ending at 10pm.
The App Terrain Park crew is working hard today to bring riders a wide variety of fun features in both our Appaljack and Appal Jam Terrain Parks. Appaljack will have a large selection of mellow beginner and intermediate features allowing for many line possibilities through the entire park. Appal Jam should offer a more difficult rail line flowing into Candied Appal, along with a medium/small jump or two!
New for this season, riders will not need a Park Pass to enter the Appaljack Terrain Park. During peak season, Appaljack will be stacked with snow berms/banks and natural snow-made flowy features. This park will be constantly changing and evolving and offer fun features for any level of rider. The Appal Jam Terrain Park will have more advanced features and riders will need a park pass to enter this Terrain Park.
