Sugar Mountain Resort is open for day skiing and riding from 9am to 4:30pm and night skiing and riding from 6pm to 10pm.

Tubing is open with sessions at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, and 8pm.

ASM is Open for the 2024-25 Season!

Appalachian Ski Mtn. is thrilled to start the 2024-25 Season on a high note with more snow and slopes open on opening day than ever before in our history! 10 slopes are open with a 24-48″ base, and snow conditions couldn’t get much better with man made snow coupled with a coat of fresh natural snowfall overnight.

Our Anniversary Weekend is scheduled for December 7 & 8, where we roll back ticket prices to $10 and celebrate 62 years of family fun! Tickets must be purchased by midnight the night before to qualify.

Cheers to the start of a great season, we look forward to seeing you on the snow!

Beech Mountain

Opening day was a success! Cold snowy weather, happy customers, and an all-around great day. Thank you to our loyal passholders, dedicated staff, and everyone who spent their Thanksgiving weekend with us. Here’s to a fantastic season ahead.

We’re thrilled to kick off the 2024-2025 winter season at Beech Mountain Resort on Saturday, November 30, starting at 9 a.m. We are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with weekday rates in effect. With the mountain freshly groomed and winter activities in full swing, it’s the perfect day to celebrate the return of ski season.

Event Highlights:
Get ready for a festive atmosphere with prizes, free drip coffee and hot cocoa, live music from a DJ, and a photo booth to capture the moment and commemorate the occasion.

Flexible Ticket Options:
We offer a range of flexible ticketing options to suit your schedule, including:

4-hour Flex Ticket

- Junior (6-12): $34

8-hour Flex Ticket
- Adult (13-64): $54

You can purchase your tickets online, beginning Monday, October 14, making it even easier to plan your perfect day on the mountain.

Hatley Pointe (formerly Wolf Ridge)

Hatley Pointe’s first chair entourage! Day 1 was a massive success. We want to thank everyone that came out, showed up for us, and were among the first to experience our mountain. We are gearing up for a big week ahead of us with DJ Thomas back tomorrow, ornament mimosa flights, bottomless brunch with Santa, and plenty more festivities lined up for our soft opening holiday week.
